Cauchemar Vivant teaser (11)
If you haven't noticed by now, this is just a quick announcement.
There's a nice, long teaser for chapter 11 on my website and the Cauchemar Vivant blog.
I hope it tides everyone over until Friday! (:

Cauchemar Vivant announcement
I know I haven't posted chapter 10 yet, but there's a good reason for that. I know when an author hasn't updated for a while (granted, it's only been a day for me), or have some kind of announcement it means bad news. No, it's not what you think! Cauchemar Vivant is just going through a schedule change.
I posted on my FFn profile that complications may arise with later chapters, and I suppose those later chapters have arrived. They're getting longer, and I have a beta reader now, so I can't churn out a chapter on Thursday without it being, well, kind of bad. I'm moving the posting schedule up a day.
CAUCHEMAR VIVANT WILL UPDATE WEEKLY ON FRIDAY'S
From now on CV will be updated weekly, like always, but on Friday's. That way both my beta and I have more time to produce a better chapter for everyone. Because I certainly hate disappointing what few readers I have; I cherish each one, and don't want to run you off with a poor chapter. Things are starting to get good (remember those good vampires that were lurking around, driving a certain girl insane? Yeah, don't want to miss them!) and it's just taking a bit longer to write them down.
So now that that is out of the way, how about something neat?
While procrastinating about editing chapter 10, I thought up a great idea. I think the execution was poor, but Photoshop skills were limited and I wasn't supposed to be doing it anyway, since my nose should have been stuck in my computer, writing. Let me know what you think. I'm not sure I'll use this banner, but I thought it would be neat to make it. That, and I really wanted to know if I could fit the S&W9VE (Bella's pistol) into the model hands. I could, by the way. I think it's quite nice. Leave me some opinions through comments, reviews, or Twitter (:

Cauchemar Vivant update-9
There's been a slight delay with the ninth chapter of Cauchemar Vivant. It seems I've picked up a beta reader, who I greatly appreciate, and the chapter was giving me a bit of trouble. I'm hoping that the story will be updated before or around Sunday (depending on my beta), but until then how about a little teaser?
The vampire’s arms came around my neck in what I assumed he meant to be a comforting gesture but my skin crawled with the contact. His nose skimmed my neck and kissed my cheek gently. “Your friends were so very sweet. Would you like a taste?”
My body was dead weight; I couldn’t move, I couldn’t fight. It was fucking scary. “Let me go.” I wasn’t sure I said anything, I couldn’t hear my voice over the pounding in my ears, but he chuckled.
“And let this saccharine treat escape? Never. You smell so much sweeter than all your companions combined; it makes me wonder how you taste.” He moved my hair to one side, tilting my head for better access—and I let him. I felt sick, but I let him. I couldn’t move, could only stare out at the ocean of blood and bodies.
